Policies

We have a two night minimum stay on weekends, three nights on holiday weekends. A single Sunday night may be available. Friday night only stays are acceptable if paid for at the time of booking and non-refundable. We have a single person discount Monday through Thursday nights except holidays.

All reservations incur a 10% service charge and 7 3/4% sales tax plus 3% occupancy tax. Please calculate accordingly when budgeting your stay.

When reservations are booked three months or more in advance, we require a non-refundable deposit of one night or 1/3 (whichever is greater) at time of booking. We take a credit card guarantee, but any room totals paid in full 2 weeks in advance with a check will receive a free gift.

House Policies:

No smoking in the house, but outdoors is just fine. We accept pets but only in one of our rooms that is reserved for that express purpose. All fireplaces in rooms are working wood-burning fireplaces meant for ambiance only; contemporary heating system throughout house.

Cancellation Policy:

For reservations booked less than three months in advance, we have a ten day cancellation policy. This means that if you cancel more than ten days before you are due to arrive, you have no financial penalty. Should you have to cancel less than ten days before arrival, you will forfeit the equivalent of one night at the inn in each room you've booked. Should you fail to cancel and not appear here, you would forfeit the entire stay. Cancellations must be received and acknowledged by a staff member. Do not cancel via email or by leaving a message on the answering machine. You will be given a cancellation number as confirmation of cancellation.

West Point Graduation Special Non-Refundable Deposit & Cancellation Policy:

1/3 of stay or one night, whichever is greater, non-refundable deposit due at time of reservation. If booked before January 1 of the graduation ceremony year, another 1/3 or one night's stay will be charged as a non-refundable payment on that day. Balance due at check-in. 10 day cancellation policy still applies for last 1/3 or one night, whichever is greater.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates can be purchased for a specific dollar amount or particular amount of nights in one specific room. When choosing your amount, please take into consideration when your giftee might use the certificate. Certificates past their expiration date are not extended.

Extra Guests per Room

When adding guests to a room already occupied by two, add $25 extra per adult and $12 extra per child. Anyone over the age of 15 is considered an adult.
